Working on Themes

Well, I've been working on my ideas for my tree themes and also for wreath themes. With a very small apartment...I mean REALLY SMALL...I have to really think it through.

I'm hoping some of our stores start to get some Christmas trees in...the small ones that are about 2 feet tall. I have plans for 8 of them and I also have plans for 8 or 9 wreaths.

I think the hardest part is deciding what theme to do on what tree/wreath and where to put it so it has the best viewing.

With mom in the hospital, I have kept busy...forcing myself to keep busy...with Christmas plans. I never have Christmas here as I only have room for one chair. But I am organzing as I go and I am making mental notes of where I am putting trees so that the items that are in those spots now, can easily be moved for the season or put away. I have plenty of extra room in my kitchen cupboards now and also in the bookshelves behind my bed.

I will take pictures as I go along and post them. I cut out music ornaments tonight from Foam Paper. I couldn't find the foamies in that shape, nor were they the size I wanted, so I bought the foamy paper at Dollar Giant and just cut out my own. I did use stencils for the outlines of the instruments, but then did my own thing with them to decorate with colour. I'll add pics asap.

Well, I think that is all for now. Prayerfully, mom will get better as today she took a turn for the worst. Poor dad is on anti-depressants and anti-anxiety pills now he's so worried.

I'll take pics tomorrow if I get a chance. I have plans to hit the major stores like Michael's, WalMart and the dollar stores to see if any Christmas items are out that I can get now to help cut costs as it gets closer to our Major Day.

God bless and don't forget that JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!
